The foundation of this team was built by Sangvip97 aka Pureheart2803 on the synergy of and , creating a "Pivot-and-Power" core where Metagross provides the pressure and Alomomola provides the longevity. To handle the metagame's aggressive setup sweepers, was added for its Unaware ability and its capacity to stack entry hazards, which pair perfectly with ’s phazing capabilities. was integrated to provide a much-needed resistance to Ground and Fire moves, as well as essential Defog support to ensure ’s Multiscale remains intact. was chosen as the final piece to provide a secondary win condition and a reliable check to Dark- and Fighting-types, resulting in a composition that prioritizes on almost every member to maximize the team's efficiency in long, hazard-heavy games.
